Reportedly karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah has said that the investigation of the case related to the Athipalli crackers shop accident will be transferred to the CIT police. There are many crackers shops in Athipalli, anekal Taluk, Bangalore Suburban district, Karnataka. As diwali festival is just a month away, various types of firecrackers are on sale in firecracker shops there. Also, firecrackers are brought in goods vehicles for diwali sale.

Accordingly, cardboard boxes containing firecrackers arrived at a firecracker shop there. The employees of the store were engaged in unloading it. Then suddenly there was a fire. 14 people died in this accident. 4 others are undergoing treatment with serious injuries.


Most of those who died in the accident were from tamil Nadu. 11 people have been identified as dead, 8 people from Ammapet village, Arur taluka, Dharmapuri district and 3 people from Kallakurichi district. chief minister Stalin condoled the families of those who lost their lives in the fire crackers shop fire and ordered to pay three lakh rupees each to their families, one lakh rupees to those seriously injured and fifty thousand rupees to those lightly injured. Likewise, the karnataka government has announced that a compensation of Rs 5 lakh each will be given to the families of those who lost their lives in the firecracker fire accident.


Meanwhile, karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah and deputy chief minister TK Sivakumar inspected the accident site. After that, Siddaramaiah, who met the media, said that the investigation of the case related to the Athipalli crackers shop accident will be transferred to the CID police. “Firecrackers are being stored where there are no basic security facilities. Owners have violated all rules. Due to this, 14 people have died. 4 people were seriously injured and are being treated in hospital. The case will be handed over to CIT police for investigation.” Said Siddaramaiah.
