Congress conducted Caste-wise Census across the country

Reportedly congress President rahul gandhi has said that the congress Working Committee has unanimously decided to conduct a caste-wise census across the country. The congress Working Committee is a decision-making body for the congress party. Meanwhile, a meeting of the committee was held today in Delhi, the capital of India. congress president Mallikarjuna Kharge, sonia gandhi, rahul gandhi and other prominent leaders of the congress party participated in the meeting and held discussions. There was talk about caste-wise census.


It is noteworthy that in the meeting which was held for more than 4 hours on october 9, Monday, at the All india congress Committee headquarters in Delhi, various matters including the passage of the Women's Reservation Bill, the demand for a nationwide caste-wise census and the five state assembly elections were discussed. After this meeting, rahul gandhi met the media and said that the congress Working Committee has unanimously decided that a caste-wise census should be conducted across India. He also said that the caste wise census is a powerful progressive measure for the welfare of the poor in the country. "Whether I go to a university and talk to students, or go to a tea shop and talk to the tea shopkeeper, I don't talk about their caste," he said.
