A 33-year-old Manhattan guy leaped into the North Pool at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum in an incredible video that quickly went viral. The event took place in the afternoon on Monday. He was taken into custody by the police after surviving with only a leg injury. A Port Authority officer saw a guy entering one of the memorial's two-tiered reflecting ponds at the site of the World Trade Centre.

The man was seen approaching the centre basin of the pool carefully and then reclining in the 18-inch deep water in the now-viral footage. Subsequently, he approached the centre gradually and plunged headfirst into a 20-foot-deep pool.
He was bleeding as he fell into the lower portion of the pool, as seen on the video. The two reflecting pools at the memorial site represent the Twin Towers' previous footprints before to their collapse following the september 11, 2001 terror attacks, and each pool has a 30-foot waterfall.

The man was shown approaching the middle basin of the pool carefully and then reclining in the 18-inch deep water in a now-viral video of the incident. Then, taking his time towards the centre, he fell headfirst into the water. The man was brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the event, including injuries to his back and leg.
