Telangana Hyderabad e-library to be set up for medical professionals

The three-day annual conference of the Association of Surgeons of india (ASI), TS chapter is being held by Apollo Medical college and Apollo health City, Jubilee Hills, and is attended by over 1,000 surgeons from all across telangana as well as about 400 post-graduates in surgery.

Prof. shiva Kant Misra, vice-president of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, announced that a web-based e-library for faculty members as well as post-graduate students and graduates will soon be established. In her remarks at the conference's opening, Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing director of Apollo Hospitals Group, noted that for doctors, surgery is a calling that comes from inside.

There were ASI office holders in attendance, including its president Dr. Prashanth Gunde, secretary Dr. Umakanth Goud, honorary secretary Dr. Pratap Varute, organizing chairman Dr. L Sridhar, and other distinguished physicians.
