On Wednesday, Lord Ganesha was bid a sumptuous goodbye all throughout the former karimnagar district. people said a magnificent goodbye to Lord Ganesha by submerging statues in various bodies of water after nine days of adoring him with pomp and circumstance. Amidst drum beats, enthusiastic worshippers carried out large shobha yatras (processions) as well as installing idols on cars that were colourfully painted. women and children who were devotees danced to the beat of devotional music.
Ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, Collectors, police Commissioners, police Superintendents, and others who represent the public took part in the shobha yatra in various locations. In karimnagar, special prayers were offered at the number one Ganesh idol at the tower circle by bc Welfare and Civil Supplies minister Gangula Kamalakar, Mayor Y sunil Rao, and Commissioner of police L Subbarayudu.
