On Monday, a 12-year-old girl was seen bleeding and partially nude on the streets of ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The young person is said to have been raped and abandoned close to the Dandi Ashram. The girl may be seen wandering through a residential neighborhood in CCTV footage. A cloth barely covers her. She asks a man waiting outside his house for assistance, but she is pushed away.
Later, the girl was sent to indore for treatment after being hospitalized in a hospital in a severe condition. "A case has been opened, and a special investigative team (SIT) has been assembled to find and apprehend the offenders as soon as possible. The minor's medical checkup revealed evidence of rape, according to senior police officer Sachin Sharma.
One individual has been detained by the madhya pradesh police in connection with the investigation. The girl was unable to provide us with a precise location of origin. However, he said, her accent reveals that she is from Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. The ujjain police received a notice of the minor's rape from the National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR).
The POCSO Act's instructions were requested by the panel, who also ordered the police to provide further information about their first report that was submitted. The most regrettable aspect of the situation, according to NCPCR chairperson Priyank Kanoongo, was that for so many hours no one intervened to assist the child. The NCPCR chairwoman noted that this exposes a negative aspect of society.
