Vibrant Gujarat Summit: PM Modi Attends..!?

Prime minister Modi will participate in a program to celebrate 20 years of Vibrant gujarat Global Summit tomorrow. PM Modi will visit his home state gujarat today. Tomorrow at 10 am, PM Modi will participate in the program to celebrate 20 years of the Vibrant gujarat Global Summit, and at 12:45 pm will lay the foundation stone of over Rs 5200 crore projects at Bodeli, Chotadepur. PM Modi will participate in a program celebrating 20 years of the Vibrant gujarat Global Summit at Science City, Ahmedabad. It is attended by industry associations, prominent personalities from the trade and commerce sector, young entrepreneurs, students of higher and technical education colleges, among others.


The Vibrant gujarat Global Summit was launched by the then chief minister of gujarat, narendra Modi, 20 years ago on 28 september 2003. Over time, it has evolved into a truly global event and has earned the status of one of India's premier business summits. Started in 2003 with around 300 international participants, the conference has seen tremendous growth in 2019 with thousands of delegates from over 135 countries attending.


Over the past 20 years, the vibrant gujarat Global Summit has evolved from "Making gujarat a Preferred Investment Destination" to "Building a New India". The unparalleled success of vibrant gujarat has become a model for the entire country and has inspired other indian states to emulate the organization of such investment summits. Subsequently, the prime minister will dedicate to the country many projects worth more than Rs.4500 crore under the 'Skill Development Schools' programme. The prime minister will dedicate to the country thousands of new classrooms, modern classrooms, computer labs, STEM (Science, technology Engineering and Mathematics) labs and other infrastructure built in schools in Gujarat. He is laying the foundation stone to upgrade and develop thousands of classrooms in gujarat schools under this movement. The prime minister also laid the foundation stone for 'Vidya Samiksa Kendra 2.0'. The program will build on the success of the 'Vidya Samiksa Kendra', which regularly monitors schools in gujarat to ensure improvement in student learning outcomes. 'Vidya Samiksa Kendra 2.0' will lead to establishment of vidya Samiksa Kendras in all districts and localities of Gujarat.


During the event, the prime minister will also dedicate to the country several development projects including a new bridge across narmada river on 'Odara Tapoi-Shinor-Malsar-Asa road' in Sinor taluk of vadodara district. Sap Talao Redevelopment Project, Water Supply Project in Dahot, Around 400 newly constructed houses for economically weaker sections in vadodara, village Wi-Fi Project in 7500 villages across Gujarat; And the prime minister lays the foundation stone for the newly constructed jawahar Navodaya school in Tahot, drinking water scheme at Chotadepur.


A flyover bridge at Godhra, Panchamahal; And under the Central Government's 'Broadcasting Infrastructure and Infrastructure Development (BIND)' programme, Panpalai Radio Broadcasting Station at Dahot will be constructed.
