In this situation, chief minister jagan Mohan announced in the state cabinet meeting that Visakhapatnam will be the administrative capital of Andhra state. The Monsoon Session of the andhra pradesh Legislative assembly will convene tomorrow. In view of this, the state cabinet meeting was held today under the leadership of chief minister jagan Mohan.
Speaking at that time, chief minister Kejan Mohan said, "The state administration will start functioning from Visakhapatnam on the dussehra festival." announced. He said that the Chief Minister's office will be shifted to Visakhapatnam on november 2, the day of dussehra, and the ministers should be ready to work from there. Andhra cabinet has also decided to implement fee refund scheme for children of retired government employees and provide benefits of Arogyasree scheme to retired government employees and their relatives. The cabinet also decided that every government employee should have a permanent home at the time of retirement. The cabinet has approved the Guaranteed Pension Scheme Bill for government Employees.
Also, the cabinet meeting has given approval to reserve 50 percent seats for tribals in the upcoming engineering college in Kurubam and to build 8,424 houses for the flood victims of Polavaram.
