CM Sukhu’s target, - BJP leaders are afraid to present the issue

The monsoon session of himachal pradesh assembly started at 2 pm on monday (September 18). After expressing grief

over the demise of former Himachal assembly member Khub Ram, the agenda in the assembly was adjourned. Himachal

Pradesh assembly Speaker kuldeep Singh Pathania gave permission to chief minister sukhwinder singh Sukhu to bring a

government resolution under Rule 102. Through this proposal, the himachal pradesh government will send a

government proposal to the Center to declare the disaster in himachal pradesh as a national disaster.

Discussion in the house under Rule 102

Under Rule 102, the government proposal is being discussed between the party and opposition members. On one hand,

the government is continuously claiming to provide help to the people at Ground Zero. On the other hand, the

opposition is highlighting the shortcomings of the government. During the discussion, chief minister Sukhwinder Singh

Sukhu requested the opposition party bjp to support the proposal of the state government to declare the disaster in

Himachal as a national disaster.

CM Sukhu targets the opposition

Chief minister sukhwinder singh Sukhu sarcastically said that bjp leaders are afraid of putting the voice of Himachal

Pradesh in front of the Central Government. The chief minister said- Dont be afraid! Take encouragement from us, go

ahead. The chief minister said that amidst this disaster, the opposition party should also support the government. Chief

Minister sukhwinder singh Sukhu has said that if the central government does not give any special relief package to

Himachal Pradesh, then the State government will announce a special package in Himachal from its own resources.
