According to information received from the authorities, Tausif-ul-Nabi, Zahoor-ul-Hasan and Rayaz ahmed were detained under a law that allows the detention of accused in certain cases without charge or trial for two years on the recommendation of the police. The police prepared a dossier against the trio and handed it over to the deputy commissioner of Kishtwar, who approved their arrest under the PSA.
