BJP’s electoral path is not easy in these three states...

Annadurai

elections are to be held in five states of the country (Madhya Pradesh, chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Telangana

and Mizoram) in November-December this year. All political parties have started preparing for the

elections. The bharatiya janata party (BJP), which is in power at the Centre, wants to register victory in all

these states, but there are a lot of challenges for it in three of these states. The big thing is that these

challenges are coming mostly from within the party and from the former CMs of these states rather than

from outside. The story of these three places, Madhya Pradesh, chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, is similar. Let

us know how these leaders are becoming a challenge for their own party.

Getting tension from uma bharti in Madhya Pradesh

Congress had come to power in the last assembly elections held in Madhya Pradesh, but the government

fell after jyotiraditya scindia joined bjp along with many MLAs and BJP's Shivraj Singh Chauhan

assumed the post of CM. The party is trying to retain its position here, but it is not so easy. Actually, Uma

Bharti can spoil the game here. She has been angry with the party for a long time. When bjp started Jan

Ashirwad yatra in the state a few days ago, uma bharti had condemned it. He had said that the party did

not even invite him for this yatra. Only jyotiraditya scindia has not formed the government. Before this, I

had also once formed the bjp government in the state. Therefore it should not be ignored.

Regarding the upcoming lok sabha elections, Bharti said, I am ready to stand in the general elections of

2024, if Shivraj asks, I will also campaign. Experts say that bjp is sidelining uma bharti from ministry to

responsibility in the party. Uma, who was once the cm of the state, is unhappy with her diminishing

stature. He has a good vote bank in the state. In such a situation, if Uma remains angry then bjp may suffer

loss.
