Annadurai
Reportedly maharashtra deputy cm devendra fadnavis has apologized for the lathicharge by the police during the Maratha

Reservation Protest in Jalna. Actually, after this incident, cm Eknath Shinde, deputy cm fadnavis and Deputy

CM ajit pawar held a meeting in mumbai and then addressed the press and issued a statement.

Fadnavis said in the press conference, "Jalna incident is sad. Lathi charge by police is sad. No one can support

the use of force. Earlier when I was the chief minister for 5 years. Thousands of movements took place then but

force was never used. I apologize for the lathicharge. The chief minister has ordered a high-level inquiry. It is

wrong to do politics over the incident.

Orders were not sent from the ministry- Fadnavis

Deputy cm fadnavis said on the allegations being made by the opposition, "Some people said that the order was

given from the ministry. Wrong narrative created. The orders for lathi charge are given by SP and DSP only. No

one else is required. This narrative is being made that the government has given this order. This is politics being

done. It should be noted that we had prepared the reservation law in 2018. And the supreme court had upheld

this. This was the second decision in the country after tamil Nadu which was upheld. The decision was

postponed on 9 september 2021.

Ajit Pawar said- government positive on reservation

On the other hand, deputy cm ajit pawar also reacted on this issue. He said, “I was unwell for two days. That's

why did not come out of the house. But different types of news were run in the media. The government is

positive about maratha reservation.
