Reportedly maharashtra deputy cm devendra fadnavis has apologized for the lathicharge by the police during the MarathaReservation Protest in Jalna. Actually, after this incident, cm Eknath Shinde, deputy cm fadnavis and DeputyCM ajit pawar held a meeting in mumbai and then addressed the press and issued a statement.Fadnavis said in the press conference, "Jalna incident is sad. Lathi charge by police is sad. No one can supportthe use of force. Earlier when I was the chief minister for 5 years. Thousands of movements took place then butforce was never used. I apologize for the lathicharge. The chief minister has ordered a high-level inquiry. This was the second decision in the country after tamil Nadu which was upheld. The decision waspostponed on 9 september 2021.
