Research station been set up for Coastal Protection and Flood Prevention Management by Singapore
The program aims to increase the number of marine scientists and engineers to deal with climate change-induced sea level rise and soil erosion. The singapore government is already working on station 9 research projects. The conservation station will focus on improving the coastal environment and finding better solutions. The use of concrete reefs or natural mangroves as coastal defenses will also be explored.
About S$125 million will be allocated under PUB's Coastal Protection and Flood Prevention Management review Program. Center for hindi Studies, functioning under the National university of Singapore. It is also reported that other local universities and industrial companies will work together. The singapore government is already working on station 9 research projects.
