All kinds of preparations have been completed for the G-20 summit. Now just waiting for the arrival of
foreign guests. Heads of state and their representatives of major established and emerging countries of the
world will participate in this summit. Some special events have also been organized for the guests during the
conference. Among these, the exhibition to be held in 'Bharat Mandapam' of Pragati Maidan will be special. In
this, an exhibition of handmade products from different states from kashmir to Kanyakumari will be
organized, which foreign guests will also be able to buy.
Along with Khadi, stalls from different states will also be set up.
Khadi stall will be the center of special attraction for the guests in the exhibition stall set up here. Which will
include jackets, shawls, hand made kurta, khadi shirt, block printed kurta, sweetness of local honey etc. made
from Modi brand 'Khadi'. In one part of the Khadi stall, there will be a demonstration of spinning yarn on the
charkha, while in the other part Khadi products will be available for sale. Apart from this, in other stalls being
set up, Pashmina shawls made in Leh-Ladakh, Banarasi sarees, Kanjeevaram silk sarees and the main Eri silk
of Arunachal Pradesh etc. will also be displayed in the stalls of different states to woo the guests. The special
thing is that, during the exhibition, guests will also have the option to purchase those products.
Khadi will have a special place in the exhibition
Natural products are being given priority in this exhibition being organized for foreign guests. In which Khadi
will have a special place. Khadi President Manoj Kumar said that Khadi always gives priority to natural
products and there will be a lot of vocal for local and organic products in the exhibition. A range of premium
quality products of Khadi and village industries from different states will be displayed. He told that a series of
natural Khadi products including Khadi heritage of father of the Nation mahatma gandhi, India's diversity,
Modi brand Khadi will be presented at the Khadi stall. He said that the stall of 'Khadi India' will also be
special because the products displayed in it are made with zero carbon emissions.
