More than 200 trains have been temporarily canceled..!?
The indian Railways has suspended more than 200 trains in the wake of the G20 summit. Besides, many trains have been diverted. Preparations for the G20 summit are underway in the national capital, Delhi. The Northern Railway has decided to temporarily cancel and divert more than 200 passenger train services here from september 8 to 11, a railway notification said on Saturday. According to the schedule, more than 90 train services have been canceled on september 9. More than 100 passenger train services were canceled on september 10. Most of these trains run from delhi on South Haryana's Sonipat-Panipat, Rohtak, Rewari and Palwal routes. Further, Delhi-Rewari Express Special and Rewari-Delhi Express Special trains will be canceled on september 11, the report said.
Further, during this period, it has been suggested that the trains scheduled to arrive at delhi Railway Station should be halted halfway. Trains which have to stop at delhi have been advised to halt at ghaziabad or Hazrat Nizamuddin railway stations and start a new journey from there.India is hosting the G20 summit in the national capital on september 9 and 10.
