Two senior IAS officers were suspended in the case of dissolution of panchayat in Punjab. bjp has attacked

this decision of the aam aadmi party (AAP) government. bjp said that the decision to dissolve Panchayats

was not of the officials but cm Bhagwant Mann had taken this decision.

BJP state president sunil Jakhar said that how can it be possible that cm Bhagwant Mann does not know

which file he is signing. Jakhar said that the government was forced to withdraw the decision. Let us tell you

that before this the opposition Shiromani Akali Dal has also raised questions on the government. The party said

that IAS officers have been made scapegoats.

Akali Dal leader Majithia made this claim

Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia has also questioned the decision of the punjab government. He said that on

August 7, cm Bhagwant Mann and panchayati Raj minister Laljit Singh Bhullar had signed the file of the

decision to dissolve the Panchayats. Three days later, on august 10, an order was issued to dissolve 13241

panchayats of the state.

Officers were forced- Majithia

Majithia claimed that the director of panchayati Raj and the Financial Commissioner of Development were

forced to sign the file within two days. Majithia said that the real culprits are the cm and the panchayati Raj


Minister. Majithia did not stop here, he further accused cm Mann of killing democracy. He said that Minister

Laljit Bhullar and cm Mann took this dictatorial decision to grab the panchayat funds.
