Not only in the country’s capital delhi, but with the arrival of navratri across the country, the entire

atmosphere among the people becomes devotional. From children to the elderly, the enthusiasm to see Ramlila

staged increases. The joy of Ramlila and the fair organized there, which is staged from evening till late night, is

also seen among children, women and elderly people. Everyone remains engaged in worshiping Mother Durga

with full devotion.

On the other hand, due to rising inflation, the committees that have been staging Ramlila on the occasion of

Navratri for years in different areas of delhi have started avoiding organizing Ramlila and fairs. The biggest

reason for organizing Ramlila is security and the expense of organizing the event in DDA Park. people of

Ramlila Committee have been continuously demanding from lg that the security rates should be reduced and

the rent of DDA Park should also be reduced. There should be less expenditure on staging Ramlila and also on

organizing fairs for children.
