It is a happy news that a medical college is starting in the district. The students have expressed their anger against the chaos of the government B.Sc. Nursing college located there. They are protesting that first provide us with infrastructure. After all, here are the complete details of where all this hydrama is happening.... The students who have decided to boycott the class and stage an indefinite sit-in. These scenes were found in front of Chitradurga district Hospital B.Sc Nursing College. Yes, since last one and a half years, this college does not have proper basic facilities. Due to the lack of proper building, dormitory, toilet and lab, the students came to the streets and protested today. Despite bringing this matter to the attention of the health department officials many times to no avail. As per Govt code we choose Govt college for Bsc nursing. But when I came here, I realized that there are no facilities here, so it is inconvenient for us to practice. Due to the construction background of the medical college, various buildings have been vacated, we have a problem with the arrangement of college and hostel in the same building. Therefore, the students demanded that the health department should immediately solve the problem and provide basic facilities.

Even last week when the minister of Higher education and the minister of health Department arrived in the district, we submitted many requests regarding this. However, district level officials and people's representatives do not give any recognition to this. So today we are going to protest in front of the district Collector's office. Non-availability of suitable rooms for B.Sc Nursing college is a problem for the students. This is proof that there is so much inconvenience in government college. Therefore, the authorities should immediately respond to the problem facing the students. It is a sad fact that even though the government college receives a lot of funding from the government, the authorities are indifferent. People's representatives have to respond to the problem of these children.
