Hyderabad Man Gets Lifer For Killing Parents

The VI Additional district court for Rangareddy in kukatpally found Md Rasheed Pasha guilty and sentenced him to life in jail after accusing him of killing his parents in Chandanagar in 2014. In the wednesday judgement, the court also assessed him a Rs 3,000 fine.

By striking his parents Sadiq Miya and Ashabee with a hammer used for construction work, Pasha, who was working as a construction worker at the time, instantly murdered both of them. He was upset with his parents because they delayed in helping him find a bride to marry and didn't put their family property in his name, according to the police who eventually arrested him. He murdered his parents in their Chandanagar rental property because he was harbouring resentment over these matters.

A non-bailable warrant was issued against Pasha after he skipped bail despite being granted bail. In order to serve the warrant, police found him in the Vikarabad area, but he resisted capture. police had pursued him at that point, carried out the warrant, and taken him into custody. But he was able to get bail again. The court went through additional evidence and the circumstantial witnesses presented by the prosecution during the trial. Additionally, the court heard testimony from the witnesses who supported his confession. The court found him guilty and sentenced him to life in prison after reviewing the evidence.
