Step 1: Install the mAadhaar App

  • Download and install the mAadhaar app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  • Open the app and register your Aadhaar number by verifying your mobile OTP linked with Aadhaar.
Step 2: Login to Your Aadhaar Profile

  • After registering, log in using your Aadhaar number and OTP.
  • You will see your Aadhaar details on the dashboard.
Step 3: Go to Address Update Section

  • On the dashboard, find and tap on “Update Address via Secret Code” or “Update Address” (depending on the app version).
  • This will redirect you to the UIDAI self-service portal.
Step 4: Enter Your New Address

  • Fill in the new address in the required fields.
  • Upload proof of address document (e.g., Passport, Voter ID, Utility Bill, bank Statement, or Ration Card).
Step 5: Submit the Request

  • Review your new address carefully.
  • Submit the request. You will get a UR (Update Request) number to track your update status.
Step 6: Verification

  • Your submitted documents and request will be verified by UIDAI.
  • If everything is correct, your Aadhaar address will be updated.
