BRS terms Congress’ SC/ST declaration as conspiracy
Sravan outlined the chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's endeavours for the socioeconomic development of Dalits and tribals in telangana over the last nine years in an open letter to Kharge. He questioned the viability of the commitments made in the sc and st statement and labelled it a deceptive ploy by revanth reddy to get some support.
Speaking at the event, sravan claimed that rather than the congress really caring about the welfare of these people, the sc and st proclamation was a last-ditch effort motivated by power. In contrast to Chandrashekhar Rao's nine years of control, where attempts were made to enhance their quality of life, he questioned the party's historical neglect of SCs and STs over its five decades of dominance.
He listed state government measures for the young of both groups' empowerment, including the creation of separate schools and colleges, considerable scholarship provisions, vocational training, and job placements for SCs and STs. He also discussed the measures in housing, healthcare, financial aid, and education that have significantly improved the lives of SCs and STs.
Sravan further criticised the congress for using the political heritage of revolutionary vocalist gaddar for their own political ends. He revealed the party's hypocrisy in honouring gaddar while dispensing with the Dalit and tribal peoples' sacrifices made during the Maoist peace negotiations. He issued a warning that the Congress' deceptive tactics cannot sever the BRS and disadvantaged groups' close relationship.
