International flights will start operating in Bangalore..!?
All international flights departing and arriving from 10:45 am on august 31 will transition from T1 and start operations from T2, marking a significant milestone for BLR airport (Bengaluru airport). Terminal 2 facilitates 30 to 35 international departures daily on 27 airlines (25 international and 2 Indian).

Since the commencement of international operations at T2, BLR airport has been committed to meeting the growing demands of global travelers and improving the overall passenger experience. The terminal has spacious check-in counters and self-baggage drop counters to facilitate quick and comfortable check-in processes. Passengers arriving at T2 can expect easy transfers, streamlined immigration and customs procedures.Additionally, T2 will offer travelers a multitude of options when it comes to retail and F&B over the next few months. These options include a variety of cuisines and shopping options.Global travelers will be given more taste for food. T2 also has an international lounge that allows passengers to relax, recharge or do their work in a comfortable setting.

Access to T2:
To increase access to T2, an additional 4.4 KM-long access road called 'Terminal Boulevard' was inaugurated earlier this year. This road connects to T2 departures and arrivals, providing a comfortable drive without any traffic signals. Passengers arriving at T2 can conveniently park their cars in the parking area. Free shuttle services will also be available at regular intervals between T1 and T2 for the convenience of passengers.
About T2:
T2 is designed to provide the highest level of passenger experience and is an unforgettable destination for passengers with its memorable visual impressions starting from the access roads leading to the terminal. Referred to as 'Terminal in a Garden', T2 is a tribute to the garden city of Bangalore. The terminal is meant to be a "walk in the park", passengers will travel through 10,000+ square meters of green walls, hanging gardens and outdoor gardens built using local technology. Located to the east of Terminal-1, T2 covers an area of 255,661 square meters and is equipped to handle 25 million passengers annually.
