On the 9th and 10th of september, all kinds of preparations have taken shape for the G-20 conference at

Pragati Maidan in the capital Delhi. Whatever is missing, that too will be completed at the earliest. So that no

stone will be left unturned in welcoming the heads of state and their delegations of G-20 member countries

coming from abroad on 8th september for this conference. In this episode, the uniforms of NDMC employees

will also be changed and new uniforms related to G-20 will be provided to them. Orange colored T-shirts and

gray colored track pants have been prepared as uniforms for about 3000 employees.

Only ground staff will get uniform

This uniform prepared for North delhi Municipal Corporation employees will be given only to the ground

staff. Designed as a uniform, the orange t-shirt will have the NDMC logo on the back, while the G-20 logo will

be on the front side. So that they can be identified from a distance. All these employees will be working in the

New delhi area during the G-20 conference. For the purpose of ensuring their identity, a plan has been made to

give them new uniforms.

According to NDMC Vice President Satish Upadhyay, the beautification work of the NDMC area is going on

at a fast pace for the preparations for the G-20. Sidewalks are being repaired. Along with this, road marking is

being done on the roads. Apart from this, all the main roads or approach roads in the NDMC area are being

decorated with flower pots on both sides of those roads. All these pots have been made with new design. About

3000 employees of Group-D, Horticulture Department, Enforcement Department, PWD are working at the

ground level for various works going on in NDMC area. During this, he also told that there is a plan to make

strict security arrangements in the New delhi area. Some areas will also be marked where ordinary people will

not be allowed to go.
