Gangadhara Raju, president of Trishul Sena said that a public awareness yatra will be held from Courtesy house of Dharmasthala to Vidhansouda, demanding that the courtesan rape and murder case of Dharmasthala should be re-investigated and the real accused should be arrested.


Speaking at the press conference, he said that the Janajagriti yatra will start from august 25 from Souzanya house in Dharmasthala and anyone can participate. The case will be explained to the people by conducting padayatras in major cities on the way. He explained that the yatra will reach Vidhana Soudha on august 28 and a request will be submitted to chief minister Siddaramaiah. In the courtesy rape and murder case, the real accused have not been arrested. Therefore, a request will be submitted to Siddaramaiah that many demands should be fulfilled, including that the case should be re-investigated. He demanded that the government should take action to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.
