Dr. Sailu Munnuri (39) of the medak area, who showed a strong interest in science from a young age, later rose to the position of senior scientist at TCG Green Chem in New Jersey. The renowned indian Institute of Chemical technology (IICT), where Dr. Sailu received his MSc (Organic Chemistry) after completing his undergraduate studies at Osmania university, awarded him his Ph.D. in 2014. In less than a year of his employment at the Hyderabad-based Celarsynth Research Centre, Dr. Sailu had successfully synthedata-sized 14 drug impurities. He received a post-doctoral fellowship in 2016 from professor John Falck's lab at the university of texas Southwestern Medical Centre after they were impressed with his work.

Dr. Sailu, who was calling india Herald from New Jersey, said it was a tremendous opportunity for him to conduct research in Falck's lab because he had the chance to collaborate and communicate with some of the world's top scientists. He noted that seven alumni or faculty members who later won Nobel Prizes during their careers came from the university.

It had promoted Dr. Sailu to assistant instructor while she was employed at Falck's Lab. Dr. Sailu claims that his research career was more fruitful during the time he was a post-doctorate fellow. He claims Prof. Falck, who had done advanced research, was the inspiration for his C-H activation research. He has created a number of new techniques for carbon-nitrogen, carbon-carbon, and carbon-oxygen bond formation reactions using the C-H functionalization method to create complex molecules in a quick and simple manner.

The creation of sophisticated natural products and pharmaceutical substances can be greatly aided by this method. His research has been published in a number of reputable international journals, including the Journal of the American Chemical Society, Organic Letters, and the Journal of the American Chemical Society. Dr. Sailu has stated that he feels truly honored to have his work appear in the most esteemed publication in the world of science. From his family, coworkers, and acquaintances, Dr. Sailu, who is from Gajawada in Regode Mandal of the medak district, has received acclaim.
