National Capital Civil Services Authority (NCCSA) to submit annual report to Center and Delhi government
As per report delhi Chief minister arvind kejriwal has been opposing this bill since the beginning, he alleges that through this anattempt is being made to limit the delhi government. According to the way the National capital delhi Civil ServicesAuthority (NCCSA) has been constituted, once the Bill becomes law, the power of the delhi government will be severelylimited. Apart from this, all decisions related to transfer and posting of officers in the capital will be taken by theLieutenant Governor.The Bill also does away with the provision that mandates the National capital Civil services Authority (NCCSA) to submitan annual report to the Center and the delhi government, which has been tabled in parliament and the delhi Assembly.The move has been labeled by AAP leaders as "abrogation of accountability". An official told that after theimplementation of the delhi services Bill, 2023, the administrative machinery of the delhi government is likely to bestreamlined as it will bring clarity on the issue of control of services in the capital.Center will get more powerSection 45D has been amended in the delhi service Bill. Section 45D deals with the appointment of chairpersons andmembers of various authorities, boards, commissions and other bodies in Delhi.
