What is there in the constitution of NCP?

At the time of formation in 1999, the constitution of ncp was made. sharad pawar had formed his own party after being expelled from the Congress, so the constitution of the ncp is similar to that of the Congress. The maximum power has been given to the National Working Committee in the party. According to Article-21 (3) of the ncp constitution, the working committee can take any decision. Along with this, the right to change the constitution of the party and take decisions related to merger has also been given to the National Committee.

According to the constitution of ncp, two-thirds of the people of the committee can change the constitution and merge or take any constitutional decision. That is, overall, more power has been given to the National Working Committee in the constitution of NCP.

As soon as the news of Ajit Pawar's rebellion came, sharad pawar took the first action to remove praful patel and sunil Tatkare from the working committee. The reason behind this was to correct the strategy of capturing the party.

Pawar immediately amended the ncp constitution and handed over all decisions to the National Committee. Not only this, on July 6, after holding a meeting of the working committee in Delhi, it also mobilized in its favor.

Political experts believe that due to these decisions of Pawar, he may have an upper hand in the election Commission.
