Telangana Govt projects win gold at ETGovernment DigiTech Conclave

At the ETGovernment DigiTech Conclave & Awards 2023 in Goa, the Information technology, Electronics and Communication Department of telangana was presented with two gold awards. The iRASTE (Intelligent Solutions for Road Safety through technology and Engineering) programme received the first prize. This comprehensive road safety management system employs a number of technologies to increase road safety in Telangana.

The system consists of a real-time traffic monitoring system, a driver behaviour analysis system, and an artificial intelligence-based road accident analysis system. The second honour was given to the platform for the conservation of forest biodiversity and the identification of animal species using artificial intelligence in Telangana's forested areas. The approach has aided in raising awareness of the significance of animal protection as well as helping to increase the effectiveness of forest conservation activities.

The ETGovernment DigiTech Awards are given to government IT professionals who have excelled in their fields. Replicability, inventiveness, and effect were some of the criteria used to evaluate the prizes. 160 proposals were chosen from among 370 submissions from all over india for further consideration in 15 categories.
