Telangana Hyderabad - Complaint lodged against Moolrasa Milk over health problems
According to authorities, telangana police have filed a complaint against the proprietor of the renowned desi cow milk shop in Hyderabad, Moolrasa Milk, for allegedly distributing contaminated milk that led to serious health issues. S.K. Sinha, a 69-year-old retired IAS official, has filed a complaint with the jubilee hills Police Station over this issue. The complainant has survived a kidney transplant. He emphasized the need of drinking calcium-rich milk for people who had had organ transplants. He was obtaining milk from a friend who kept cows after being advised by the physicians to drink cow milk daily to gain calcium.
When the cow became pregnant, the milk supply was halted. The complaint was named Moolrasa Milk, which made the claim that it provided pure, high-quality milk. Sinha started consuming the milk after paying Rs 150 per liter. A few of days later, the complaint began scratching his feet, but he ignored the signs. But as the days went by, his condition got worse. He had back agony as the fluid in both of his feet started to build up. He had to go through intense scratching after drinking the milk.
As he grew concerned about the milk's quality, he got in touch with the owner of Moolrasa to discontinue the supply of milk. According to the allegation, the owner had threatened to kill him. In accordance with IPC Sections 272 (adulteration of milk intended for sale) and 273 (knowingly selling anything as food or drink that is injurious), jubilee hills police had filed a complaint. There is an inquiry going on.
