Telangana govt decides to regularize notary properties in urban areas

The telangana government has made a big effort to regularise homes, non-agricultural plots, and other assets bought on a notary in metropolitan areas, giving property owners much-needed relief. naveen Mittal, the revenue department's principal secretary, has issued directives explaining the procedures for applying for regularisation and recommending the public to do so at MeeSeva locations.

According to the orders that have been issued, applicants must provide link paperwork together with notarized documents, property tax receipts, power bills, water bills, and any other documentation that proves they are the rightful owners of the property. The district collector will carefully review each application before making a judgment. The Rules of GOs 58 and 59, which deal with the regularisation of buildings on government land, shall be applied to properties built on government lands. On the other hand, properties that do not intrude on public property will be handled immediately.

Notably, stamp duty won't be charged on houses closer than 125 yards. However, homes greater than this data-size would be charged stamp duty based on market value in addition to an extra Rs 5 fine. Although the orders have clarified the rules, they make no mention of a fixed date by which applications must be submitted.

Other metropolitan regions in the state are also affected by the problem of notary properties, which is not just a problem in Hyderabad. people have been pleading with the government to regularise these properties for a very long time, and chief minister K chandrasekhar Rao promised to deal with the issue humanely. Property owners may now rest easy knowing the status of their homes is clear with the issue of orders for the regularisation procedure.
