Telangana Releases Rs.167.59 Crores for Farmer Loan.!
For loan waiver payments from Finance Department Rs. 167.59 crores have been released. This has benefited 44,870 farmers. On this occasion, Agriculture minister Niranjan reddy expressed special thanks to chief minister KCR on behalf of telangana farmers. Finance minister harish rao also responded to the loan waiver on Twitter. cm KCR launched the farmer loan waiver with the aim of strengthening the rice donors financially.
Once again in 2018 loan waiver was promised. As per the assurance given in 2014 Loans up to 36 thousand were waived off. The cm directed Finance minister harish rao to start the loan waiver process from thursday and to complete all the loans within 45 days. According to the promise, crop loans of Rs.16,144 crores related to 35.31 lakh farmers were waived in the first phase of the government.
This time, the government will waive off the loans of about 29.61 lakh farmers worth Rs.19 thousand crores. In the first two phases, the government waived crop loans of Rs.17,351 crores for a total of 40.74 lakh farmers. If the latest loan waiver is also included, it will reach about Rs.36 thousand crores. About 29.61 lakh farmers will benefit from the latest loan waiver. Beneficiary farmers are happy as they are receiving loan waiver money.
