Govt teacher from Telangana wins FDAI honour

The Fulbright Distinguished Award for international Teachers Programme (FDAI) has been selected for Dr. ravi Kumar Kola, an english school assistant at ZPHS, Panthini, Inavole Mandal. Only a select few individuals receive this coveted award, and Dr. ravi Kumar is one of the six indian instructors chosen for this year's event.
Only 50 instructors are accepted each year into the FDAI course, which receives applications from 16 different nations and is well recognised for its fierce competitiveness. The initiative, which is sponsored by the US Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) and run by IREX, aims to improve global cooperation and encourage cross-cultural learning among educators.

Dr. ravi Kumar will spend august 15 through december 14 studying at Indiana university of pennsylvania in the united states as part of the FDAI scholarship. A grant of $34,000 will be used to pay for the programme, including his travel, lodging, and other associated expenditures.
"I will be qualified to apply for the Fulbright Global Grants Programme after I return from the United States. According to Dr. ravi Kumar, who has served as a State Resource Person for the acclaimed Connected Learning Initiative (CLIx) project, a partnership between TISS, Mumbai, and MIT, USA, this initiative offers funds for instructors to hold workshops and seminars for other educators.
