According to the recommendations of the election commission of India, the city police have moved and assigned new posts to 163 inspectors, according to hyderabad police commissioner C.V. Anand. After the most recent reform of the police, this is the second significant reshuffle. Since many new officers had reported from other units in the state, anand convened a video conference with all of the inspectors to inform them about the infrastructure and policing reforms being implemented as part of the Mega City Policing Plan.
Anand also instructed the departing officers to appropriately transfer authority by explaining the situation to the newcomers and addressing any administrative concerns. He gave the incoming inspectors instructions to swiftly become familiar with municipal policing and provide excellent services after thanking the departing inspectors for their assistance in keeping peace and order in the city.
"The overhaul of the city police this year heralds bright changes in policing with many new officers in the forefront and key upgrades at all levels with regard to infrastructure, manpower, material, new units, and other resources," anand added. According to him, there are three shifts in place in each zone, and employees are assigned defined responsibilities based on the workload and station type.
