After the 2024 elections, no party would be able to form a government without the backing of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), according to Finance minister T Harish Rao, hence telangana will receive the unpaid monies from the Centre. The minister said that the BRS will receive more than twice as much money from the Centre after the 2024 elections while speaking to teachers and staff members of an Anganwadi programme at an Atmeeya Sammelanam on sunday in Siddipet.
After the upcoming elections, Rao predicted that a coalition government will be in place at the federal level and said that no party could do it without the backing of the chief minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao. The minister said that by withholding money totaling Rs. 1.10 lakh crore, the Centre had forced telangana into a financial crisis when the Anganwadi employees asked for the release of retirement benefits.
The minister said that the people of the BJP-ruled States were calling for the execution of welfare programmes like Rythu Bandhu, Kalyana Lakshmi, and other programmes, and that the Centre had halted the distribution of funds to prevent telangana from carrying out these programmes successfully.
Telangana would, however, undoubtedly receive these monies if it played a significant part in the next union administration. He asserted that the telangana administration was swiftly implementing all plans and overcoming all obstacles, and that withholding funding was part of a ploy to undermine Telangana. By overthrowing the bjp government in the elections of 2024, the BRS, according to Rao, will teach the bjp a lesson.
The minister warned Anganwadi employees against becoming victims of trade unions and promised to bring all of their problems to the Chief Minister's attention. Rao reassured the employees that the State government saw them as part of the family and that it would always support them. He continued by saying that telangana already paid its teachers and other anganwadi employees the highest compensation in the nation.
