Fear of loss to bjp in 2024, repeating performance like 2019 is not easy…

Right now, more than 9 months are left for the lok sabha elections to be held in 2024, but the political discourse in the country has completely focused on it. On the one hand, many opposition parties, including the Congress, have been churning for the past few months to materialize the possibility of a strong alliance, while on the other hand, the bjp is also busy increasing the clan of allies under the NDA. The meeting of opposition parties was held in Bengaluru on 17 and 18 July, while the nda meeting was held in delhi on 18 July.

Pressure of hat-trick of victory on BJP

If we talk about bjp, then under the leadership of narendra Modi, the party got massive victory in the last two lok sabha elections. The challenge to maintain that trend and make a hat-trick of victory is now in front of the bjp in 2024. It is true that in 2019, the opposition was not united in the way that preparations are going on this time. Along with that, the way bjp was looking strong in 2019, it is not in the same strong position this time.

It is not easy to repeat the performance of 2019

The position of the bjp is strong in comparison to the opposition, but it does not seem that easy for the bjp, which has won a majority in the last two elections on its own, to do so in 2024. One, because of being in power for 10 consecutive years, bjp is facing the challenge of anti-incumbency ie anti-incumbency wave. On the other hand, if an alliance of opposition parties is formed, then due to one-to-one competition, BJP's path in many seats of the country will not be as easy as it was in 2014 and 2019. Looking at these pictures and the situation, bjp is trying to strengthen its alliance NDA. Under this exercise, a meeting of the nda was held on 18 July. In which bjp claims that 38 parties are participating.
