K Kavitha, a BRS MLC, urged the indian diaspora in australia on saturday to make telangana their top choice for investment. She participated in the Bonalu event that the bharath Jagruti sponsored in australia, Brisbane.
Speaking at the event, she claimed telangana has become India's investment sanctuary. In the previous nine years, the state has received investments totaling over 47 billion dollars. It was made feasible by the government by putting in place a number of policies that benefited the businesspeople who came to the State to start industries.
She said telangana received every second IT job offered in India. 9.5 lakh IT jobs were employed in the state now compared to 3.5 lakh at the time of the split. Along with making quick progress in important areas of development, the state had better GSDP growth than the national average.
She emphasised the necessity of abiding by Australian law and leading a moral life. It was encouraging to see how well indians were doing in Australian politics. Participants at the festival included Kasarla Nagender reddy, head of the BRS australia section, and srikar Reddy Andem, president of the telangana Jagruti australia Chapter.
