700 underprivileged citizens receive Jio Bharat phones in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh
In telangana and Andhra Pradesh, jio Centres and jio Points distributed jio Bharat phones to almost 700 poor people on Thursday. The jio Bharat phone will be on sale starting this friday in shops all around India, with a deployment of 1 million phones in the first phase. According to a press statement, it would be sold for Rs 999, making it a reasonably priced internet-enabled phone.
Users may sign up for a Rs 123 monthly subscription that offers 14 GB of internet and unlimited calls. Furthermore, it added that an annual package costs Rs 1,234.
