Rs 704.50 crore spent on construction of various police buildings in Telangana

According to Koleti Damodar, chairman of the telangana police Housing Corporation, a total of Rs 704.50 crore was spent on the construction of different police structures, including police stations, police commissionerate buildings, and district police headquarters buildings. These structures were built with cutting-edge amenities akin to corporate headquarters in conformity with the views of chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.

In a statement to the media on Wednesday, Damodar claimed that front offices at 90 police stations around the State and 23 new district police headquarters buildings, including those in Siddipet, Kamareddy, and Ramagundam, had been erected. district police buildings are being built, at an estimated cost of Rs. 38.5 crore.

The corporation is building 137 police stations, each costing between Rs 2.7 crore and Rs 4.25 crore, in accordance with the government's directive that every mandal have a police station. 109 of them have been finished, while work is still being done on the other ones.

"The district police headquarters is being built with a 51,411 square foot total building data-size in mind. All police facilities are outfitted with the newest architecture and technology, according to Damodar. An estimated Rs 175.68 crore was spent on the renovation or construction of 67 police station buildings in the twin towns of hyderabad and Secunderabad, including those built during the Nizam era. According to Damodar, police stations have been built in locations with forested areas, such as Asifabad, Nirmal, Adilabad, Bhadrachalam, and Nallamalla, using unique designs.
