Telangana Home Minister Should Resign due to Increase in Crimes

On Saturday, the telangana congress demanded the resignation of Mahmood Ali, the state's home minister, blaming him for the surge in crime in both the state and the city. Mahmood ali has never shown a sense of accountability, according to Syed Nizamuddin, a spokesperson for the telangana Pradesh congress Committee. Mahmood ali held the position of deputy chief minister for four years and was almost through with a five-year term as the home minister.

He asserted that the "friendly policing" that was promoted by the head of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi did not serve the common population and had led criminals to commit crimes without concern about getting caught. Speaking to the media at gandhi Bhavan, Nizamuddin said that the state home minister was opening a police station and commemorating the Spiritual Day at Dargah Yousufain on june 23, the day that seven terrible killings took place in Hyderabad.

The congress leader said, "The BRS government has spent more time on superficial improvements like corporate-style police stations and new vehicles rather than focusing on crime prevention." Additionally, he charged numerous Bharat Rashtra Samithi leaders with committing major offences. Nizamuddin claims that despite having the most CCTV cameras of any city in the nation, the police have not used them to deter crime. He said that the hyderabad police were more focused on putting together BRS programmes or thwarting congress party demonstrations.
