Telangana has topped the nation in a number of categories, including per capita income and power consumption, but the chief minister of the state, K Chandrashekhar Rao, insisted that the growth momentum should not be lost or diluted. He added that while it may not be time to celebrate just yet.

The chief minister remarked in a speech to district authorities and government workers on monday after opening the newly constructed Integrated district Offices Complex (IDOC) and the district Police office at jogulamba gadwal that the growing momentum needed to be maintained for the following five to ten years. He argued that the current momentum was insufficient and urged a higher increase in the State's growth rate. "We want to keep it going strong. telangana will soon be at the top of the list of States in each measure of progress. Paddy production once ranked first in Punjab. With more than 56.40 lakh acres planted in the crop, telangana has supplanted punjab as the nation's greatest paddy producer as of today, he added.

He said Gadwal, which was experiencing a significant metamorphosis, will be nothing short of a nugget of gold once the Gattu Lift Irrigation Scheme was also completed. He also announced that Gadwal would soon receive a medical college.

Strengthen BRS for growth propellers to continue

The chief minister, who earlier opened the district office of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, praised the BRS's singular success formula for ushering in a reign of prosperity in telangana while speaking to a sizable public gathering.

He added that programs like Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, Dalit Bandhu, and uninterrupted power were not being implemented in order to build vote banks, but rather as growth propellers, and it was the people's duty to empower the BRS with continued support if such programs were to continue. They were all designed to turn around the people's fortunes, which had declined due to the neglect of previous rulers.

The State had undergone a significant shift quickly. people are now traveling to work on farmlands in the palamuru region, which was formerly renowned for poverty, malnutrition, and migration, from Raichur, Kurnool, Bihar, and Jharkhand. Those who abandoned their towns have come back to start farming.

Farmers in the boundaries of the former mahabubnagar district would be allowed to grow crops on more than 20 lakh acres after the ongoing initiatives were finished. Projects like Kalwakurthy, Nettempadu, Koilsagar, and Bhima contributed significantly to the transformation that occurred.
