Telangana CM KCR - Fight Centre’s lopsided policies
He highlighted his worry about the governments' failure to give the agricultural community with clean drinking water, irrigation infrastructure, and reliable electricity supply over India's 75 years of independence. He asked the nation's citizens to rise up and fight against the Central government's unfair policies in this area.
"When telangana is effectively implementing development projects in every field, why aren't the other States of the nation following suit? Are we asking for the moon and stars to be brought down for sharing? We are simply looking for the natural resources that are necessary for our survival, such as drinking water, irrigation water, and power. Give us at least water and power, forget the moon and stars," he said.
Anand Roy, a well-known advocate for tribal rights and RTI who uncovered the Vyapam fraud, joined the BRS movement in nearby Madhya Pradesh. jai Adivasi Yuvashakti Sangathan (JAYS), a well-known movement for tribal rights, also promised its support to the BRS in Madhya Pradesh.
Lal Singh Burman, the president of the JAYS, joined the BRS along with Pancham Bheel, Ashwin Dube, Gaziram Badole, Kailash Rana, and others. On Wednesday, chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao welcomed them into the party by giving them pink scarves.
According to vikram Achalia, the founder of JAYS, the expectations of the underprivileged, disadvantaged groups, Dalits, and Adivasis have not been met throughout India's 75 years of independence. He did believe that Chandrashekhar Rao, by successfully executing several welfare and development schemes with a humanitarian attitude for the development of SCs, STs, BCs, and minorities in telangana, gave people across the nation the confidence they needed to realise their goals.
