Hyderabad - 11 new police stations start functioning

On the occasion of State Formation Day, a total of 11 newly launched law and order police stations under the hyderabad police Commissionerate have begun to formally operate as of Friday. Domalguda, Secretariat, Khairatabad, Warasiguda, Bandlaguda, IS Sadan, Gudimalkapur, Filmnagar, Masab Tank, Madhuranagar, and Borabanda are among the new police stations. Now that FIRs are being accepted, all police stations are open.
On Friday, representatives from the TSPICCC and the hyderabad City police Commissionerate were visited by representatives from the Canadian High Commission in New delhi and the Canadian Consulate General in Bengaluru. The delegation, which included City police Commissioner CV anand, met with Daniel Morency, Consul at the Canadian Consulate General in Bengaluru, Claude Rochon, Consul at the Canadian High Commission in New delhi, and Jaswinder Singh, Senior Consular Programme Officer at the High Commission of Canada.

The guests saw a cutting-edge command and control system, and anand gave a demonstration of how it operates and how it helps the police department respond to situations swiftly and efficiently. The group also went to the Bharosa center and SHE teams of the hyderabad City Police. DCP sneha Mehra gave them an overview of the covert services provided by the SHE Teams, the relief and rehabilitation measures, the child-friendly courts, and the women's protection initiatives being carried out in the state capital.
