Under the Make in india program of the central government, the company that will be created by india and russia in the alliance will accumulate an order of around 5 billion dollars by 2025 for supersonic missiles that use nuclear weapons, the head of this alliance said.
This year, the philippines placed an arms export order worth around $375 million with india for this missile. Atul D Rane said that following this, negotiations have been started with many countries. BrahMos Aerospace is currently in talks with Indonesia, Malaysia, and vietnam to sell supersonic missiles that use this nuclear weapon.
The number of these countries is likely to increase in the next few weeks. Under the Make in india program, BrahMos Aerospace is run by the government of india with a 50.5 percent stake and russia with a 49.5 percent stake. The joint venture is to license and manufacture Russia's MiG fighter jet and Su-30 jet aircraft.
This includes BrahMos missiles.A Russian official said on monday that a mass production of Russia's new Kalashnikov AK-203 rifle is to be done in India. The Kalashnikov AK 203 rifle is to be manufactured at a factory in Korwa, Uttar Pradesh.
