The Karur collector was chastised by MPs in the district Collector's Office. Inside the premises, S. Jyotimani is holding a protest. The mp who took part in the demonstration. T. Jothimani, Karur mp, came to the district Collector's office at 12:15 p.m.yesterday.
She then staged a sit-in protest at the Karur district Collector's office, expressing his displeasure with the Karur district Collector's refusal to allow people to work. T. Prabhushankar, the district collector, arrived on the scene and notified the MP. She was invited to the collector's room by officials. She never entered his room and later the collector himself stepped out and had a discussion with Jyotimani.
"Various camps are being held for the alternatively abled, and various welfare help is being provided to them," the collector responded. They were not invited because the Central Government's proposals were not needed. The camps are supervised by the state government, and the disabled are supplied with help. C. Jyoti Mani, an unsatisfied mp with the Collector's response, refused to give up the fight and prolonged it.
