Women can't be Ministers, They should only give Birth says Taliban

As the Taliban-led caretaker administration in afghanistan prepares to take the oath of office, concerns of a non-inclusive administration rose when a Taliban representative made insulting remarks about women. A Taliban spokeswoman remarked in an appearance that women can't be ministers and should instead give birth, bolstering the idea that the hardline group's boasts of a new, upgraded version since its violent control in afghanistan in the 1990s are bogus.

"You can't put anything on a girl's throat that she can't even carry, so she can't be a minister." Females do not need to be in the government; instead, they should bear children, according to Taliban spokesman Sayed Zekrullah Hashimi. Dozens of afghanistan women have come to the streets protesting the installation of a hard-line, all-male Taliban government, endangering their lives in the process. "Women demonstrators cannot speak for all Afghan women," Hashimi continued. The Taliban's remarks to TOLO news about the new Afghan govt's lack of female ministers have gained wide popularity.

Hashimi responded, " "We, on the other hand, do not regard them as half-measures. What type of half are you talking about? The half was misdefined in this case. The half indicates that you will just store them in the closet. And it's not a problem if you infringe on her rights."
