Rishi Kapoor cremated in presence of 18 Close Members

Legendary actor, rishi kapoor passed away on thursday morning at the age of 67. He entertained doctors and nurses till his very last breath and that’s how incredible of human being he was. He was cremated in the presence of his family including wife and veteran actress, Neetu Kapoor; son, Ranbir Kapoor; his girlfriend alia bhatt and niece kareena kapoor Khan along with husband ali KHAN' target='_blank' title='saif ali khan-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">saif ali khan a while ago. Fans across the country are pouring in so much love for Badla actor and expressing their heartfelt wish for him on social media. rishi kapoor is survived by wife Neetu Kapoor, son ranbir kapoor and daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.

Riddhima couldn’t attend the funeral of her father as she’s in delhi and although, the government has passed an order of five people who can travel by road from delhi to mumbai including her but it would take 18 hours for her to reach there. So, the family decided to perform the last rites today itself. However, alia bhatt helped her witness her father for the last time through a video call. abhishek bachchan, armaan jain with wife Anissa Malhotra, aadar jain, brother randhir kapoor, Ranbir’s Bff, ayan mukerji all came together to pay their last respects to the late actor. Altogether, 20 people were allowed at the Chandanwadi Crematorium in Kalbadevi, mumbai to perform the last rites. With friends, family and industry folks pouring in their condolences for the demise of one of indian Cinema’s Royal Family member’s demise, the mumbai police too has shared their condolences on rishi Kapoor’s death. 

Meanwhile, Neetu Kapoor took to her official social media handle to release a statement on rishi Kapoor’s demise on behalf of the entire Kapoor family. An excerpt of which read, “Our dear rishi kapoor passed away peacefully at 8:45 am IST in hospital today after a two-year battle with leukemia. The doctors and medical staff at the hospital said he kept them entertained to the last.”
