Vijayamma shocks YSRC ticket aspirants?
YSRC honorable president YS Vijayamma recently presided over the political affairs committee of the party which was supposed to take some key decisions especially with a mental preparedness that Jagan may not be available to lead the party even during next elections.
The main focus of this meeting was to decide over the strategy and other things which have to be adopted for the local body polls. During this meeting YS Vijayamma reportedly said that only those candidates who will ensure party’s victory in the local body polls would be considered while giving tickets and warned that those who cannot assure victory will not be given tickets for assembly. This left the leaders and also the cadre shell shocked.
The leaders of the party were heard saying that the high command has taken no measures to build active cadre all these months and these elections cannot be a yard stick to judge leaders. They reportedly said that these election results should be seen as an opportunity to identify where they are strong/weak and work accordingly but it cannot be used to deny tickets to leaders. They also lamented about that there was nothing mentioned about funding sources for local body polls.
