Telangana Police track 4,226 mobile phones using CEIR
"The telangana police was chosen for the CEIR pilot project, which was formally inaugurated on May 17 across the nation and on april 19 in the State. The tracing of lost or stolen mobile phones has been helped by all police departments, according to Anjani Kumar. The telangana police organized training for 60 officers initially, who eventually instructed many more officers in each of the State's 780 police stations. The Department of Telecommunication created the CEIR site.
"The CEIR application and the CCTNS citizen portal have been fully integrated. Anjani Kumar stated, "We are pleading with the people of telangana to use the service on the citizen site rather than going to Mee Seva or the police station for lost or misplaced mobile devices.
