Changes to its visa policy announced by the uae last month have come into effect on october 3.

Green visa holders get more benefits.

They can keep their spouse, children and close relatives with them during their stay there.

Parents can keep their children with them till the age of 25 years.

Earlier this age was 18. This age limit does not apply to unmarried daughter or disabled children.

A green visa holder also gets an additional six months grace period at the end of the stay.


Ten-year Golden Visa

Foreign entrepreneurs, researchers, medical professionals investing in uae in science and related fields.

Golden visa is given to working professionals, highly skilled students and graduates.



The Golden Visa Scheme was implemented in 2020 to attract top talent to the UAE.

The duration of the visa granted under the Golden Visa scheme is up to ten years.

Earlier, the right of residence of a person living outside the country for more than six months was cancelled.

Previously, such professionals had to earn more than 50 thousand AED (Dirham) or about 11 lakh rupees per month to live there, but now it has been reduced to 30 thousand AED (about 6.6 lakh rupees).


Visa policy for tourists and others

Visitors to the uae on a tourist visa can now stay for an additional 60 days.

Earlier this period was 30 days.

Apart from this, a flexible multi-entry tourist visa has also been introduced.

The tourist can stay there for up to 90 days and during this time he can leave the country as many times as he wants.
