NRI Telugu writer gets a big honour
NRI's have often been instrumental in elevating India's pride across globe. We have seen lots of researchers and new innovations by NRI's across globe. Now in similar lane Sarada Purna Sonty who is a Telugu NRI writer has elevated the scale at higher levels.
She has 8 foundations and has organized Annamacharya Aradhana festivals, music concerts and classical dance performances, and promoting literary works and Indian culture in the US for the last 40 years. But even then the thirst continues to grow more.
And due to this, she was recognized as one among the Top 10 Telugu Living Legends in the USA. When asked regarding her love towards art she said the mission was to keep her father Susarla Gopala Sastry’s vision alive by reaching out to the next generation and bring in a considerable change in the fields of culture, philosophy, language, and fine arts.
When she spoke to media, she said, "Teaching Vedic recitation and Telugu language for children, conducting seminars, hosting several concerts, and writing books are part of my life. The top 10 Telugu legends is an honour for me as I never even dreamed of being listed along with CEO of Microsoft Satya Nadella."
